The court granted additional time for authorities to present the case details
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Peshawar High Court has ordered authorities not to arrest PTI leader Azam Swati in any registered cases until April 15.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Aurangzeb, heard Swati’s petition seeking details of cases filed against him.
Justice Asadullah questioned whether the government would not provide further details, to which the Assistant Attorney General responded that they had already been shared, but the petitioner had approached the court again.
The court remarked that since a notice had been issued, the government should have submitted a report. The court granted additional time for authorities to present the case details in the next hearing.
Following this, the Peshawar High Court ordered that Azam Swati should not be arrested and adjourned the hearing until April 15.
