Court extends Bushra Bibi's bail in Nov 26 protest case

Bibi’s counsel pleaded that the former first lady wanted to become part of investigation
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The district and sessions court Islamabad on Saturday extended interim bail of former first lady Bushra Bibi till April 15 in a case related to Nov 26 protest by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Additional Sessions Judge (West) Chaudhry Amir Zia conducted hearing on Bibi’s plea.
Bibi had filed applications seeking exemption from appearing and to be made part of investigation.
Bibi’s counsel pleaded that the former first lady wanted to become part of investigation.
Later, the court extended Bibi’s bail till April 15.
It must be remembered that a case is registered against Bibi under Section 144 and several other sections in Ramna Police Station.
