Six policemen martyred in Tank IED blast

Six police officials, including SHO Ismail, were martyred in an IED attack on an armored vehicle in Tank. In Orakzai, 2 killed in a terror attack on Aman Lashkar; three militants slain in retaliation.
TANK (Dunya News) – Six police officials were martyred in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near an armoured vehicle in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
The vehicle was targeted in the Gomal area, 25 kilometers from Kot Wali. The victims include SHO Ismail, ASI Sher Alam, Shafi, Hazrat Ali, Ihsanullah, and the driver, Majid.
Emergency teams from Rescue 1122 have reached the spot as they are shifting the injured persons and bodies to local hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area while a search operation has been launched to arrest the perpetrators.
In a separate incident took place in Orakzai, a terror attack on an Aman Lashar resulted in the death of two individuals and left three others injured.
The attack took place in the Yakho kandao area. In retaliation, three militants were reportedly killed during the counterattack.
