QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has emphasized that the province is progressing on the path of development and that quality education is a fundamental right for every child.

He highlighted that the Punjab government has provided 460 scholarships for Balochistan’s students, opening doors to higher education for deserving and talented youth.

Applications for these scholarships, offered under the Punjab Education Endowment Fund, have now been invited.

Bugti said the scholarship initiative aimed to provide quality education opportunities to bright students from Balochistan, marking a significant step toward expanding access to higher education and improving academic standards.

He noted that previously, top educational institutions in the country were largely accessible only to children from affluent families.

Now, children from underprivileged and hardworking households in Balochistan can also attend prestigious institutions, reflecting the province’s progress.
