ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to discuss regional peace, bilateral relations and maritime affairs.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, the Singaporean foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region, as well as its efforts to facilitate dialogue between the United States and Iran.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace, development and stability in the region and across the world.
The two leaders also discussed recent incidents in international maritime zones and other naval matters, agreeing to maintain close coordination and cooperation between the relevant institutions of both countries.
The conversation also focused on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation and the importance of high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Singapore.
Both foreign ministers agreed to remain in contact in the future.
