QUETTA (Dunya News) - The Balochistan government is likely to present its budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year during the third week of June, according to provincial finance officials.
The Balochistan Finance Department said the upcoming budget is expected to remain surplus and tax-free, continuing the province’s recent fiscal policy approach.
The total budget outlay is likely to reach around Rs1.2 trillion.
The education sector is expected to receive the largest allocation, with approximately Rs150 billion proposed for educational development and related expenditures.
Officials also indicated that salaries of government employees are likely to be increased in line with the federal government's pay raise policy.
