ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, focusing on regional developments, peace initiatives, and ongoing diplomatic efforts involving the United States and Iran.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders welcomed the reported progress as US-Iran negotiations entered their final stage and expressed satisfaction over developments toward a possible agreement.
During the conversation, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue, mediation, and reducing tensions in the region. He acknowledged Pakistan’s role in contributing to peace and stability.
The two foreign ministers also discussed matters related to the upcoming Regional Four-Party Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (R-4) and agreed to further strengthen coordination and communication between the two countries.
