ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will travel to Tehran on July 2 to attend the funeral ceremony of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
According to sources, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf extended a special invitation to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to participate in the funeral proceedings, with an official invitation letter also received by the National Assembly Secretariat.
Sources said the funeral prayer of Ayatollah Khamenei is scheduled to be held on July 3, with high-level delegations from various countries expected to attend.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will represent Pakistan at the funeral ceremony and convey the country’s participation in the important event.
