LAHORE (Dunya News) – The District Education Authority has formally launched a crackdown on unregistered schools across Lahore, issuing notices to hundreds of educational institutions operating without registration.
According to the authority, notices have been served to a total of 744 unregistered schools across the provincial capital.
School administrations have been directed to submit their responses within three days, failing which legal action will be initiated in accordance with the law.
The authority warned that unregistered schools could face fines ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs4 million under the applicable regulations.
