Summary Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal says Pakistan cannot afford long marches, urging dialogue to resolve political issues. He also comments on petrol prices and the Pakistan-India conflict.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has said that Pakistan cannot afford a long march, arguing that such protests have never produced any benefit or achieved their objectives in the past.

Speaking to the media ahead of PTI’s planned long march, Mustafa Kamal said political issues could not be resolved through such protests.

He said dialogue and sitting together to discuss issues was the way forward, adding that a long march was not a solution to problems.

Commenting on petroleum prices, the federal minister said a change in government would not result in cheaper petroleum products.

Mustafa Kamal also spoke about the Pakistan-India conflict, saying that the war between the two countries in May had not ended and was continuing in what he described as a more dangerous form.

He said Pakistani soldiers were being killed on a daily basis and alleged that India, after losing the war, was now fighting a proxy war.
