ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamaat-e-Islami emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the Al-Aqsa Storm of October 7 defeated Israel.

Addressing the Gaza Solidarity March in the federal capital, the JI chief congratulated the participants and said that despite all its activities, Jamaat-e-Islami remembered Gaza and continued its struggle for the Palestinian people.

He said that on October 7, a major change occurred in world history. The Al-Aqsa Storm proved Israel's invincibility wrong.

The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami said that Israeli technology was defeated on October 7 and that the United States could not help Israel. According to him, Israel took revenge on the defenseless people of Gaza and heavily bombed innocent Palestinians.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that 80,000 people were martyred while 10,000 bodies are still buried under the rubble.

He said that people around the world rose up against the oppression of the Palestinians, but during this time it also became clear that there was no one to help the oppressed.

According to Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, there are still 9,500 Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli prisons.

He said that Hamas has created a unity around the world through its resistance, while in the United States, 81 percent of young people are with Palestine and against Israel.
