Summary Pakistani visitors can obtain a free Qatar visa on arrival for up to 30 days, subject to four specified requirements.
DOHA (Web Desk) - Qatar is offering Pakistani citizens a free tourist visa on arrival for stays of up to 30 days, subject to specified conditions, according to the Qatari Ministry of Interior.
The visa may be issued for up to 30 days, or for a period determined by the visitor’s hotel booking, the ministry’s website states.
Applicants must have a passport valid for at least three months and a confirmed return ticket.
They must also book their hotel through Qatar’s official tourism website, Discover Qatar. Reservations made through other websites or online booking platforms will not be accepted for this facility.
Pakistani travellers are also required to have health insurance from a company approved by Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.
The ministry said visitors must meet all four requirements to qualify for the free visa on arrival. Travellers who cannot provide the required documents or fulfil the conditions are not guaranteed entry under this facility.
The arrangement is separate from Qatar’s other visa-free entry and tourist visa programmes. Travellers have been advised to check the requirements and prepare the necessary documents before departure.
