The hosts resumed their innings at 7 without any loss. Both the openers, Mahmudul Hasan Joy (5) and Shadman Islam Anik (10) were dismissed with 23 runs on the board.
Mominul Haque Sourav and skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto faced Pakistani bowlers with grit and took the team total to 93 at the break. Mominul was batting at 37 and Najmul at 34.
Mohammad Abbas and Hasan Ali shared the wickets.
On Sunday, Pakistan were bowled out for 386 in reply to Bangladesh’s 413, handing the hosts a slender 27-run first-innings lead.
