DHAKA (Dunya News) – Pakistan need 152 more runs with seven wickets in hand to win the first Test against Bangladesh after a dramatic final day session at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 268 runs, Pakistan were rocked early as Imam-ul-Haq and captain Shan Masood were both dismissed for 2 runs each. Debutant Azan Awais, who scored a century in the first innings, also fell after making 15 runs, leaving the visitors struggling at 21-3.

Earlier, Bangladesh declared their second innings at 240-9 after resuming the day at 152-3. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto top-scored with 87 runs, while Mominul Haque contributed 56.
For Pakistan, Hasan Ali and Noman Ali claimed three wickets each, while Shaheen Afridi took two wickets.
Bangladesh had taken a first-innings lead of 27 runs after posting 413 in reply to Pakistan’s 386. Debutant Azan Awais was the star for Pakistan in the first innings with a brilliant 103-run knock.
