Iran-US talks must aim for complete end to war: Hamas

GAZA/JAKARTA (Dunya News) - Hamas has welcomed the Iran-US peace negotiations, stating that the objective of the talks should be a complete and comprehensive end to the war.

In its statement, Hamas said it is looking forward to the success of peace efforts being hosted by Pakistan and expressed hope that these diplomatic initiatives will yield positive results.

The group further stated that the diplomatic process would help promote unity and stability among Arab and Islamic countries.

Meanwhile, Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also termed the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States in Pakistan as encouraging.

The ministry said that such developments would help advance diplomatic efforts and that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only path to sustainable peace.

The Indonesian Foreign Ministry added that the negotiations are a positive step towards resolving the conflict and emphasized the need to further strengthen efforts aimed at reducing tensions. It also called for maximum restraint, respect for sovereignty, and preservation of regional integrity.
