WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has expressed disappointment over Iran’s response to American proposals, saying his patience regarding Iran is now close to running out.

The US president said Iran was well aware of what could happen very soon and that the next step in the matter could be taken shortly.

He added that Tehran now appeared more eager for an agreement than before.

Donald Trump further said he was not prepared to offer any concessions and that the United States would stand firm on its position.

His remarks have sparked renewed debate over tensions and ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Earlier, President Trump claimed in a post on Truth Social that certain American media outlets were showing bias in their coverage related to Iran.

Trump said that even if Iran surrendered and acknowledged the dismantling of its navy and air force, sections of the US media would still portray Iran as the winner.

He added that even if the Iranian military laid down its arms, waved a white flag, and admitted defeat, some media organizations would continue to claim that Iran had succeeded.

He further said that even if the Iranian leadership bowed before the United States and signed documents of surrender, some media outlets would still describe it as an Iranian victory.

In his post, President Trump criticized certain American media organizations, calling them “fake news media.”
