RIYADH (Dunya News) - Saudi Arabia has announced that this year’s Hajj sermon will be broadcast with translations in 35 major world languages.
According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the initiative aims to effectively deliver the message of the Hajj sermon to millions of pilgrims and viewers around the world.
Officials said the sermon would be translated live into several major international languages including English, French, Indonesian, Turkish, Persian, Russian and Chinese.
For pilgrims from Pakistan, the Hajj sermon will also be broadcast in Urdu as well as regional languages including Punjabi and Pashto.
Saudi authorities said modern technology and digital platforms would be used to transmit the sermon globally so that more Muslims could benefit from its spiritual message.
Experts said multilingual broadcasts of the Hajj sermon would play an important role in spreading Islamic teachings and the message of Hajj internationally.
