TEHRAN (Dunya News) - A senior official of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has termed the possibility of another war with the United States as low, while warning that Iran is fully prepared to deliver a strong response in case of any attack.
According to Iran’s semi-official news agency Tasnim News Agency, Deputy Political Chief of the IRGC Navy Mohammad Akbarzadeh said the chances of war were limited due to what he described as the weakness of the enemy, but stressed that Iranian armed forces remain alert for every possible scenario.
He warned that if aggression was imposed on Iran, the entire coastal belt from Chabahar to Mahshahr would become a graveyard for attackers.
Mohammad Akbarzadeh further stated that Iran’s armed forces are maintaining complete preparedness and surveillance to defend the country’s borders, coastal regions, and national security.
