ANKARA (Dunya News) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has praised US President Donald Trump for his firm commitment to advancing peace efforts with Iran, describing his stance as encouraging amid ongoing diplomatic initiatives.
Addressing a NATO summit, Erdogan said European allies should assume greater responsibility for the alliance's collective defence, stressing the need for a more balanced sharing of security obligations among member states.

The Turkish president also expressed gratitude to the United States, Spain, Germany and Italy for providing additional air defence support during the Iran conflict, saying their assistance had been greatly appreciated.
Emphasising the importance of global cooperation, Erdogan called for unity against all forms of terrorism, urging the international community to work together to confront common security threats.
