ANKARA (Dunya News) - The United Kingdom and Turkiye have signed a new security and defence partnership agreement on the sidelines of the NATO summit, marking what both countries described as a significant milestone in their strategic relationship.
According to a joint statement, the agreement reflects the two NATO allies' commitment to strengthening cooperation in response to the evolving security environment across the Euro-Atlantic region.
Under the partnership, the UK and Turkiye will establish new consultation mechanisms covering the political and military dimensions of security and defence policy.

Key areas of cooperation include defence strategy, military collaboration, the defence industry and technology, cybersecurity, and countering hybrid threats.
