Summary In a statement, military spokesman said government forces conducted the operations using fighter jets, drones, artillery, missiles and rocket launchers
SANAA (Web Desk) - The Yemeni army said it had killed at least 700 Houthi fighters in 257 military operations carried out across several fronts.
In a statement posted on social media, military spokesman Colonel Majed al-Nazili said government forces conducted the operations using fighter jets, drones, artillery, missiles and rocket launchers.
He said the operations covered fronts in Sanaa, Midi, Baqim, Al Jawf, Marib, Al Bayda and Lahj, with major operational efforts concentrated on the Taiz fronts.
The targets included command-and-control centers, troop concentrations, military equipment and stockpiles, weapons and ammunition depots, as well as military supply routes and transportation networks.

According to preliminary battlefield assessments cited by the spokesman, the operations killed at least 700 Houthi fighters and destroyed 170 military vehicles and other assets, along with strategic and high-value military targets.
Meanwhile, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen described Houthi claims that they had targeted the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as misleading.
The spokesman described the claims as “an attempt to divert attention from the scale of the losses and the growing public anger at the militias’ behavior and their connection to foreign agendas that have brought chaos and destruction to Yemen.”
The Iranian-backed group claimed to have targeted Riyadh as unified Yemeni forces were fighting to repel its attempts to consolidate positions it had attacked on the west coast.
