Summary Abbas Araghchi said messages were still being exchanged between Iran and US through intermediaries as both sides explore possible avenues to end the conflict
TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said diplomatic efforts to end the war between Iran and the United States are continuing, with Tehran expected to formally respond to Washington’s proposals within the next few days.
Araghchi said messages were still being exchanged between Iran and the United States through intermediaries as both sides explore possible avenues to end the conflict.
According to the Iranian foreign minister, Tehran has described the proposals it presented to the United States as a “seven-day plan.”
He said Iran had received and heard the US proposals and was now conducting a detailed assessment of their contents.

Araghchi said the Iranian government would complete its review before sending an official response to Washington in the coming days.
He stressed that Tehran’s final position would be determined only after careful consideration and consultations.
“The negotiating process to end the war between Iran and the United States is continuing,” Araghchi said, while indicating that no final decision had yet been reached.
The latest comments suggest that diplomatic channels remain active despite the ongoing tensions, with both sides continuing to communicate indirectly through mediators as Iran weighs its next steps.
