KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said on Wednesday that the government was continuing to take every possible measure to give benefits of economic reforms to common people.
Speaking at an event in Karachi, the finance minister said the policy rate had been decreased while inflation had been reduced.
“The rupee has strengthened against dollar and remittances have increased as well,” he added.
He said “these were all positive indicators which are result of government’s policies. The private sector has a huge role in the economy,” he asserted.
He went on to say that the country was moving towards economic stability, adding that current account deficit was also decreased.
