KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices rebounded on Saturday in both international and domestic markets after slipping slightly in the previous session.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the rate of 24-karat gold in Pakistan rose by Rs1,300 per tola to settle at Rs456,162, driven by higher global prices and continued investor interest.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,115 to Rs391,085, the association reported. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,022, reaching Rs358,507.

On the international front, gold gained $13 per ounce, closing at $4,338. Analysts attribute the rise to persistent demand for safe-haven assets amid economic uncertainty and fluctuating currency movements.

Silver prices also moved higher. The rate of 24-karat silver climbed by Rs139 per tola to Rs6,987, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs119 to Rs5,990, mirroring the upward trend seen in the global precious metals market.
