LAHORE (APP) - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director Nasim Ahmad Khan said on Tuesday that facilitation of business community and institutional transparency are among the top priorities, adding that business facilitation centers have been established across various regions of the country to address issues faced by the business sector and ensure improved coordination with stakeholders.
He expressed these views while speaking during a meeting with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol at LCCI. Executive Committee Member Rana Nisar was also present.
Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol appreciated the cooperation and engagement of NAB officials with the business community and said that constructive coordination between institutions and private sector organizations is vital for improving ease of doing business.
He said that the Lahore Chamber is actively organizing exhibitions, investment-related activities, business networking sessions and healthy recreational initiatives to positively engage the business community and promote economic activity.
The LCCI President also highlighted the importance of digital transformation in public institutions and said that transparent and efficient systems can significantly improve confidence among businessmen and investors.
