Summary Ministry of Finance documents reveal that heads of several government and semi-government institutions are receiving salaries ranging from millions to over Rs 10 million per month.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Ministry of Finance documents have revealed that heads of multiple government and semi-government institutions are receiving significant monthly salaries and benefits, with some packages exceeding one crore rupees.
According to the documents, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan is drawing a monthly salary of over 3.6 million rupees, while the Chairman of the Competition Commission of Pakistan is receiving around 1.1 million rupees per month. The President of the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited is being paid approximately 5.4 million rupees monthly.
The records further show that the President of the EXIM Bank of Pakistan earns 5 million rupees per month, while the President of the First Women Bank Limited receives over 2.2 million rupees monthly. The Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Single Window is being paid around 2.6 million rupees along with an additional allowance of 89,000 rupees.
As per the documents, the CEO of Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL) is receiving a monthly salary of 5.2 million rupees along with a 15 percent allowance.
The Ministry of Finance further states that the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan is earning 4 million rupees per month, while the President of the National Bank of Pakistan is receiving 9 million rupees monthly.
The Managing Director of the Pak-Kuwait Investment Company is drawing 15.378 million rupees per month, while the MD of the Pak-Oman Investment Company is earning 12.884 million rupees monthly. The MD of the Pak-Iran Investment Company receives 9.716 million rupees per month.
The documents also show that the Managing Director of the Pak-Libya Holding Company Limited earns 8.817 million rupees monthly, with additional perks and allowances provided to heads of several investment companies.
