Final decision will be made on his participation in PSL 10
LAHORE (Web Desk) - A crucial decision regarding the future of Pakistan’s young batter, Saim Ayub, is expected next week.
The 22-year-old opener sustained an injury during the Cape Town Test against South Africa in January.
British medical specialists will conduct a detailed assessment on Tuesday and provide their recommendations regarding Saim Ayub’s future. Based on their medical opinion, a final decision will be made on his participation in PSL 10, set to begin on April 11.
Notably, Saim Ayub has resumed training, and Pakistani trainer Hanif Malik has traveled to London at his request to assist in his rehabilitation.
It is worth mentioning that Saim Ayub was unable to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to a right ankle injury. Pakistan will also miss his services in the white-ball series against New Zealand.
