SHO among four policemen suspended for showing negligence in dealing with the case
KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a bizarre twist of events, police revealed on Saturday that a dispute over a girl led to the death of a youngster at the hands of his own friend.
According to police, accused Armaghan called victim Mustafa, 24, at his house along with a girl and beat them with an iron rod violently, causing the instant death of Mustafa.
Police have launched a manhunt for the girl after recovering the murder weapon smeared with blood.
On the other hand, Karachi Additional IG Javaid Alam has suspended four policemen for showing negligence in dealing with the case.
SHO Abdur Rasheed and Investigation Officer Zulfiqar are among those suspended by the additional IG.
It has been learnt that accused Armaghan has confessed to killing Mustafa in front of a judge of an anti-terrorism court.
Sheraz, one of the suspects police earlier apprehended, claimed that Armaghan killed Mustafa.
