KARACHI (Dunya News) – A suspected robber was killed and his accomplice escaped during an ‘encounter’ with police in Ferozabad here on Wednesday.
The dead outlaw was identified as Usman Bangali. Police received a distress call that two outlaws plundering citizens from their cash and valuables. On information, police rushed to the crime scene. To see the police party, the outlaws opened fire, which was retaliated, killing one robber at the spot, whereas the other managed to escape.
Police claimed the dead outlaw was the symbol of terror in Korangi. He was wanted by police in many cases of crimes of serious nature. Arms and valuables were recovered from the dead robber. Further investigation was underway.
