MULTAN (Dunya News) – A woman was knifed to death in her house in an alleged robbery incident in Gulgasht Police jurisdiction, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
The woman was home alone when an unidentified assailant murdered her in what police suspected a robbery attempt. She was identified as Perveen,38.
Police received a distress call that a woman was attack with a knife in her house. Police scrambled to the crime scene and shifted the injured woman to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police said the exact reason for her murder would come to light after the post-mortem report. The assailant escaped after the incident. Police were collecting forensic evidence and recording statements to reach out to the fleeing killer.
