RAWALPINDI (APP) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven operations in different cities across the country on Thursday and arrested five suspects and recovered 316.724 kilograms(kgs) of narcotics worth more than Rs 40.4 million.
According to an ANF spokesperson, the operations targeted international drug trafficking, inter-provincial smuggling and domestic narcotics networks.
In an international drug interdiction operation at Sialkot International Airport, ANF recovered 12.160 kgs of ice soaked in seven Ihram garments packed in the luggage of a passenger travelling to Saudi Arabia.
