(Web Desk) - Police have arrested the main suspect allegedly involved in the sexual assault of a trainee nurse in Khanewal’s Tehsil Saddiqabad area.
According to police, two men allegedly assaulted the trainee nurse at a Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic in the area.
District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Abid took immediate notice of the incident and ordered the arrest of the other suspects allegedly involved in the case.
Police have arrested the main suspect, while efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining accused.
The DPO said strict and indiscriminate legal action would be taken against those involved in violence and sexual assault against women.
