RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Jail authorities at Adiala have denied reports suggesting that former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan might be moved to another prison. Officials said there is “no truth” to the claims and stressed that no proposal for his transfer is being discussed at any level.

According to Adiala Jail sources, Imran Khan remains in the prison, where all necessary security measures and facilities are being provided. They said the rumours about his transfer are nothing more than “guesswork and baseless chatter.”

Jail officials added that a five-member medical team from PIMS Hospital recently conducted a full examination of the PTI founder, declaring him completely healthy. They said his security, diet, and medical needs are all being taken care of without compromise.

The clarification comes a day after the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Information, Ikhtiyar Wali, said at a press conference in Islamabad that the government had begun considering relocating Imran Khan to another province.

He argued that continuous protests outside Adiala Jail were creating difficulties for citizens and forcing the government to review its security and administrative strategy.
