ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Foreign Office (FO) has issued directives to restrict the mobility of foreign diplomats during the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad.

In a letter, the FO informed foreign diplomats about the SCO summit, scheduled for October 15-16 in Islamabad.

Diplomats have been instructed to limit their movements and activities to the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave and are required to follow the traffic plan outlined by Islamabad's traffic police.

The FO expressed hope for the cooperation of diplomatic missions to ensure the success of the SCO summit.

The Pakistani government has implemented strict security measures to accommodate high-level delegations of ambassadors and foreign officials attending the event.
