Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets today for Shaban moon sighting

Shab-e-Barat is observed on 15th night of Islamic month of Shaban
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today, Thursday, in connection with the sighting of the moon of Shaban, 1446 AH.
Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad will chair the meeting at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad.
All zonal and district moon sighting committees will hold their meetings at their respective locations.
The central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the announcement regarding the sighting of the moon after considering the testimonies received from across the country.
The Shab-e-Barat, a night of forgiveness, is observed on 15th night of Shaban, with religious reverence across the country.
