PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet approved the conversion of the government’s MI-17 helicopter into an air ambulance.

According to KP government spokesperson Barrister Saif, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's official helicopter will be modified for Rs300 million to serve as an air ambulance. He stated that the finance department would provide funds to the provincial aviation unit for this initiative.

"The Chief Minister has dedicated his helicopter for public service," he remarked, adding that it is already being used for delivering medicines and evacuating stranded individuals in Kurram.
