Army Chief appreciated steadfast resolve of armed forces, Frontier Corps to maintain order
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir issued a stern warning, stating that the armed forces are well aware of those playing a "double game" and are fully prepared to defeat them.
According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir made these remarks during his visit to Balochistan, where he was briefed on the province’s security situation. Senior security and intelligence officials were also present.
The Army Chief visited the Combined Military Hospital to inquire about the well-being of injured personnel, lauding their unwavering courage and dedication in the line of duty.
Addressing troops, General Munir declared, “We are fully aware of those who play double games. The so-called friends who act as enemies will be defeated at all costs. We are prepared to pay any price for the defence of our motherland.”
The COAS further emphasised the military's resolve, stating, “We will continue to pursue you whenever necessary. We know well the facilitators of foreign agendas.” He criticized individuals with “dual standards,” saying, “They pledge loyalty to the crown while secretly colluding with thieves. But our armed forces will decisively overcome these disloyal elements.”
Highlighting the military's commitment, General Munir vowed, “We will track down and eliminate anti-state elements. The welfare and security of the people of Balochistan remain our top priority.”
The ISPR also noted that the Army Chief appreciated the steadfast resolve of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and other law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
