Weather to remain cold and dry in most parts of country

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country while very cold in hilly areas during the next 24 hours.
However, light rain with snowfall over hills are expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during evening/night. Shallow to moderate fog is expected in Northeast Punjab during morning hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly wave is likely to approach western parts of the country on Monday.
During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country. Leh remained the coldest place in the country on Sunday where temperature fell up to -11 degrees Celsius.
