SEHWAN (Dunya News) - Lawyers’ sit-in protest in Hyderabad on Friday disrupted oxygen supplies to Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences in Sehwan Sharif, endangering lives of dozens of patients, Dunya News reported.
A senior official of the hospital informed that more than 50 patients' lives are in danger due to disruption of oxygen supplies. He said that the oxygen stock at the hospital would last for six to eight hours.
He said that oxygen supply for the hospital comes from Karachi and added that due to lawyers’ sit-in protest, the vehicles carrying oxygen cylinders could not reach the hospital as all roads are blocked.
