ECP to hear PTI's intra-party elections case on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is set to resume the hearing of the pending case regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) intra-party elections tomorrow.
According to official sources, the hearing will take place as notices have already been issued to key petitioners, including Barrister Gohar and Akbar S. Babar.
The case has been pending before the ECP since March 2024, following objections raised by the commission over PTI’s intra-party elections.
It is pertinent to mention that Akbar S. Babar and other petitioners had challenged the legitimacy of PTI’s internal electoral process.
