PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Preparations have been finalised to establish an Anti-Corruption Force in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The new force will involve fresh recruitments, while deputed staff will be sent back to their respective departments.

According to sources, the Anti-Corruption Force will consist of three cadres: investigation, prosecution, and administration.

The force will be headed by a Director Anti-Corruption, while the Director General of Prosecution will be recruited on a contract basis.

Sources revealed that both the Advocate General and Prosecutor General will handle cases. The Prosecution cadre will complete inquiries within six months and submit reports to the Prosecution Director.

Officials found guilty of fabricating cases will face imprisonment ranging from three to seven years.

Additionally, the Anti-Corruption Force will undergo a four-month training program in Islamabad.
