LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has criticised the lack of governance and public relief in Karachi.

In a statement issued from Lahore, he highlighted the alarming rise in accidents involving dumpers and tankers, which have claimed over 100 lives in just one and a half months.

He accused the Pakistan People's Party of ruling Karachi for 16 years with a "fake mandate" while failing to enforce traffic laws.

Hafiz Naeem also condemned the manipulation of local bodies, alleging that public representation has been hijacked.

He further claimed that Karachi’s youth are being deprived of educational opportunities due to dual domicile policies and questioned those responsible for imposing the current electoral system.
