Arab League already scheduled its session in Egypt
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) decided to convene an emergency meeting of its foreign ministers to discuss the deteriorating situation in Gaza.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Secretary, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has engaged in telephonic discussions with his counterparts from various countries regarding the crisis. It is anticipated that the extraordinary session of OIC foreign ministers will be held later this month.
The secretary further stated that deliberations are underway to finalise the date and venue of the meeting, which will assess the situation in Gaza. Meanwhile, the Arab League has already scheduled its own session, which is set to take place in Egypt.
