Missing youth’s charred body found in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The police have found the burnt body of Mustafa, a young man who went missing from the Defense area of Karachi on January 6.
DIG CIA Muqaddas Haider said in a presser the police have found Mustafa’s body from Hub Chowki as he was taken there along with the vehicle on January 6. The accused Armaghan set the vehicle on fire along with his accomplice.
Haider said that the accused put Mustafa in the vehicle and set it on fire. The victim’s burnt body was found in the vehicle. Earlier, the police had conducted an operation at the house of accused Armaghan located in Defense Phase 5, during which bullet marks were found in the secret room and blood stains were also recorded on the carpet.
He said that the DNA of the kidnapped Mustafa's mother was sent to the lab for a match. Then, the DNA would be matched with the blood found at the house of the accused Armaghan.
The police officer said when the police raided the house in search of Mustafa, Armaghan opened fire with heavy weapons, injuring the DSP and a policeman.
