RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has recorded the statements of eight more prosecution witnesses in the GHQ attack case during a hearing at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. 

Judge Amjad Ali Shah presided over the case and PTI founder Imran Khan was presented in the court room. 

Other accused, including Fawad Chaudhry, Raja Basharat, Sheikh Rashid and Shehryar Afridi, also appeared before the court. 

The prosecution presented evidences and witness testimonies regarding the absconding accused Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar, and Zulfi Bukhari, with Sub-Inspector Aqeel Ahmed recording their warrants and advertisements. 

The eight witnesses included police officials Aqeel Ahmad (ASI), Shamrez Mehboob, constable Talib Hussain, and lady constable Samra Ashfaq. 

The prosecution also submitted key case evidences, including mobile phones, batons, and other items. 

The court adjourned the hearing until Feb 25, with a total of 17 witnesses having recorded statements so far.
