Police report declares Salman Akram Raja, others guilty in Oct 5 violence cases

LAHORE (Dunya News) – In three cases of arson and violence from October 5, police have declared Salman Akram Raja, Zameer Jhundo, and Ali Imtiaz Warraich, among others, guilty in their investigation report.
During the hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), the accused, including Salman Akram Raja, appeared in court to mark their attendance. Police submitted their report on the Islampura police station case, naming seven suspects, including Raja, as guilty.
The court sought arguments on the Islampura case in the next hearing and requested investigation reports for cases registered at Masti Gate and Lari Adda police stations. The court extended the interim bails of the accused until April 12.
Separately, in the Shafiqabad police station case of October 5, police submitted a report before ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul, declaring Salman Akram Raja, Ali Imtiaz Warraich, and Shabbir Gujar guilty.
The court granted bail to Salman Akram Raja, Shabbir Gujar, and others against surety bonds of Rs. 100,000 each.
