IHC grants bail to over 120 PTI workers arrested during Nov 26 protest

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved the bail of more than 120 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers arrested during the November 26 protest, ordering their immediate release.
A bench comprising acting chief justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif heard the bail petitions. Lawyers Ali Bukhari, Babar Awan, Murtaza Toori, and others appeared in court.
The court approved the bail while instructing all released workers to submit an affidavit at the police station, ensuring that they will not engage in such actions in the future.
The IHC granted bail against surety bonds of PKR 20,000 and directed authorities to release all detained workers immediately.
It is worth noting that several PTI workers were arrested during the November 26 protest, leading to legal proceedings for their release.
