ATC cancels Asad Umar's bail in May 9 cases

LAHORE (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday cancelled former PTI leader Asad Umar's bail in three May 9 cases.
ATC Admin Judge Manzar Ali Gul heard the cases and canceled Asad Umar's interim bails due to his absence.
Asad Umar faces charges of arson, violence, and vandalism in cases registered at Jinnah House Lahore and Askari Town police stations.

Last year, former federal minister Asad Umar said he had not joined the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) as he couldn’t even think of parting with the PTI.
Speaking to reporters outside Lahore’s anti-terrorism court (ATC), he rejected rumours of joining the PPP and called it "mere propaganda."
Umar said he was in Lahore and didn’t join any party. He also urged Fawad Chaudhry to keep calm and avoid harsh words.
