ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Senior lawyer Ahsan Bhoon has been appointed as the new member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) for a period of two years. Bhoon will represent the Pakistan Bar Council in the commission
The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has approved the appointment of Ahsan Bhoon as a member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. He replaced Akhtar Hussain, who resigned earlier this week.
The Pakistan Bar Council’s central and provincial members participated in the voting process, where Ahsan Bhoon secured 14 votes, and four members opposed his nomination while one member abstained from the voting process.
