SBP announces new timings for banks during Ramazan

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued new timings for banks during the month of Ramazan, Dunya News reported here on Saturday.
According to the new schedule, all banks, financial institutions, and microfinance banks will open at 9am and close at 3pm, and work during this time without any break, from Mondays to Thursdays.
On Fridays, the banks will open at 9am, and close at 12:30, and work during this time without any break.
The State Bank of Pakistan has issued directions to the banking sector to ensure that people face no inconvenience in dealing with their financial issues.
With the sighting of Ramazan crescent, the fasting month has begun in Pakistan, and other Muslim countries.
In view of booming financial dealings during the month of Ramazan, the SBP issues special directions to banks for best arrangements for the people so that they should not face any inconvenience.
